The 2006 Whirlpool Steelhead 70.3 Triathlon will take place on Saturday, August 5th.  On-Line Registration for the 2006 race is now open.
 
The Whirlpool Steelhead 70.3 Triathlon will be a qualifying race for the 2006 Ironman 70.3 World Championship Triathlon in Clearwater, Florida. 100 slots will be awarded to the top finishers for the Ironman 70.3 World ÊÊChampionship. The Whirlpool Steelhead 70.3 Triathlon will be the only race in the Great Lakes region that will award slots to the Ironman 70.3 World Championship.

2006 Whirlpool Steelhead 70.3 Triathlon is sanctioned by the USAT. To participate in the Whirlpool Steelhead 70.3 Triathlon, you are required to be 18 years or older and sign a USAT waiver form.
